Phase one:
Karl and his team felled trees and cleared the fields and green spaces of overgrown brambles, tree saplings, weeds, bushes and ivy.
Phase two:
After felling large trees we then had to remove them using our trucks and machinery.
Phase three:
We began to clear the remaining green spaces of butterfly bushes, ivy, weeds, overgrown brambles and vegetation.

Work was interrupted mid project by constant heavy rainfall for days. The rain and our traffic created mud on the field. We had one work day postponed as the ground was too slippery and unworkable. We then used wood chipping to create a road on the field to enable us to drive vehicles on and off to collect tree logs.
It took six weeks us to complete the initial three phases for this project.
